Cromwell Veterinary Hospital & Kennels, LLC

We are a five doctor practice. We have four full-time veterinarians and one part-time veterinarian. Take a moment to get to know our doctors by reading the following bios.
Robert F. Efron D.V.M.
Dr. Robert F. Efron grew up in Douglaston, New York. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University in 1972. He graduated from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 1975. Dr. Efron completed his internship at New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine. After several years of private practice, Dr. Efron established Cromwell Veterinary Hospital & Kennels LLC, in 1979. He has two children, Jay and Dayna, who are attending college and both hope to be teachers. In his spare time, Dr. Efron participates in many outdoor activities such as running, mountain biking and kayaking. He also enjoys Tae Kwon Do and ballroom dancing with his wife Sharon.

Leslie R. Lynch D.V.M.
Dr. Leslie R. Lynch comes to us from Bloomfield, New Jersey. She earned her D.V.M. Degree with honors from the University of Georgia in 1983. Following two years in a private small animal practice in Rochester, New York, Dr. Lynch joined Cromwell Veterinary Hospital & Kennels LLC in 1985. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in behavior and diseases of cats. Besides her husband, Dave, she shares her home with three cats and two dogs. Dr Lynch spends much of her spare time exploring the great outdoors. She enjoys activities such as bicycling,
hiking, cross country skiing and sea kayaking.

Geoffrey R. Frattini D.V.M.
Dr. Geoff Frattini began his undergraduate education at Fordham University in Bronx, New York. He transferred to Southern Connecticut State University graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. From there, he attended the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1998. A native of Southern CT, Dr. Frattini returned to New England to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital in Springfield, Ma. In the fall of 1999, Dr. Frattini joined the staff of Cromwell Veterinary Hospital & Kennels LLC where he practices small animal medicine with special interests in pocket pets, ferrets and rabbits. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys golf in his spare time.

Daniel J. Hurley III D.V.M.
Dr. Dan Hurley is a native of Cranston, RI. He graduated with honors from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Hurley earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Following Cornell, he did a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital in Springfield, MA. After a much needed vacation, Dr. Hurley joined the Cromwell Veterinary Hospital & Kennels LLC staff in August 2002. In his spare time, he enjoys various team sports (when possible) and following college basketball.

Kathleen M. Clark, D.V.M.
Dr. Kathy Clark received both her Bachelor of Science and Veterinary degrees from Cornell University. She is a lifelong resident of Newington, CT, where she currently lives with her husband, Victor, and her son, Byron. Dr. Clark has been practicing in the greater Hartford area for over 25 years, and returns to Cromwell Veterinary Hospital & Kennels LLC after a 20-year absence. She has a special interest in rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small mammals. Dr. Clark's own pets include her dog, Ladybug, and four cats, Huggins, Spike, Homer, and Orangeman (also known as Bellyboy). Her outside interests include bird watching, skiing, and roller coasters.
